Hey, we’re gonna spend the most meaningful day of your life together — let’s make sure we actually like each other first 🤪 You are choosing a person to spend an entire adventurous day with in the mountains. It better be someone you like and trust. Here are 5 reasons why you should always have first consult call with your photographer before making anything official.

🫶 1. Consult call with photographer is mainly a vibe check.

We’ll spend a full day (or two!) together—possibly hiking, changing outfits on a cliffside, or braving wild weather. If we don’t click, it’ll show in the experience and the photos. You deserve to feel supported and genuinely cared for.

But it’s a two-way street. I don’t say yes to everyone either. If there’s no trust or alignment, I won’t take the booking — because nobody benefits from spending such a meaningful day with someone they don’t connect with. On a video consult call with your photographer you can really see if there is potential for an excellent cooperation.

📣 2. We check communication and language.

Especially if you’re hiring someone abroad — can you understand them clearly? Some foreigners’ verbal English can be rather poor. Again, this one thing you can only check via consult call with the photographer. Their written English might be okay, but how they speak can be entirely different thing. Are they helpful? Can you truly trust them with planning and posing guidance?

📸 3. You’ll get the full picture — literally.

If you’d like, I’ll show you full galleries, not just the “banger” shots. You need to see what a full elopement story looks like start to finish—not just Instagram highlights.

📝 4. We talk contracts, flexibility & expectations.

From weather backup plans to how many weddings I take on per week — it’s all on the table. I explain my contract clearly so you know how I prep, protect your date, and deliver.

This is your sign to trust your gut. If we vibe — amazing! If not, that’s okay too. You’ll find someone who feels like your person. Consult call with photographer doesn’t make anything legally binding. It’s just to see if you would want this person by your side on one of the most important days of your life.
